Shame Shame Shame........... I am not amazed on the news. I am amazed at KPS Gill [The Lord Of Indian Hockey]. I am amazed how come a person like KPS Gill can be fooled in his own game by a person who was second best to him. How come all this was happening and KPS Gill didn't know anything? Has KPS Gill become impotent, if yes, then why he is still in the service of game. If he can not even see wrong doing in his own office how come he takes care of our national Game? Can someone answer these questions?
All these year I [most of us] thought very highly of him. We thought the guy is brave and on top of that he is a nationalist. We saw him bravely fight the war of terrorism in Punjab. He was one of the main forces to take those elements out of the region.
All these years, we stood by you. We even denounce players like Pillay for you. We thought he was emotional and didn't understand the complexity of the politics. We thought you will eventually bring Indian Hockey to the podium finish in Olympics.
What you got us -"First time in the history we will not play Olympics". I might want to thank you for that we might have finished at the bottom. Even worse, we might have lost to Chinese.
KPS Gill, You have let all of us down and not just the game. You have killed a game which was once passion of ours.

"Indian Hockey Federation secretary K Jothikumaran’s luck has finally run out. For years, the grapevine had buzzed with talk of shady deals involving him. Now, the man who held the second most powerful post in Indian hockey for 14 years has been exposed by a news channel's sting operation showing him taking money to get a player selected for the Azlan Shah Cup to be held at Kuala Lumpur in May. This is a fresh blow to the 'national game' that's already struggling to stay alive in the country. "

"We will remove him. We are now looking to appoint someone as the acting secretary tomorrow itself. Somebody who can stoop to such a level and disgrace the game need not continue," Gill told TOI after the channel showed the Chennai-based secretary demanding Rs 5 lakh for ensuring the selection of a player in the national team.
